Each biennium, two Zeta State members are recognized for their contributions and achievements at the chapter, district, and state levels.
This award is given to a chapter member who has been active for a minimum of five years, projects the Society's image and what it stands for, is active in all phases of the chapter, and has made a significant contribution to the field of education.
This grant is given to a woman who resides in the chapter area, who exhibits an aptitude for and a desire to pursue a career in the field of education, and who is returning to college after having been a homemaker or a part of the work force for a number of years.
This is a program to encourage and reward members who fully participate and commit to our chapter and DKG throughout the entire year. The “requirements” for earning the STARS pin are the things we already do; the idea is to encourage more participation in all Alpha Upsilon’s activities as well as reach out for the stars by expanding our universe and becoming more involved in it.
